Scope

Our works to West Drayton Library comprised of a comprehensive internal refurbishment to upgrade and refresh the existing library provision. We re-positioned the existing reception desk, a package requiring electrical installations to provide new outlets and further collaboration with the Council’s IT contractor to establish the necessary data cabling to support the function of the reception area. We also constructed new internal partitions within the main library, creating additional office space, requiring reconfiguration of bookcases, and again electrical and data cabling works.
LED upgrades to lighting were completed throughout as part of the Council’s commitment to reduce the carbon footprint and energy usage of its libraries across the Borough. Further works included redecoration, new carpets and vinyl flooring, and the refurbishment and reuse of existing furniture.
