Greyline aligns with Men’s Sheds in Enfield

The Greyline team have recently partnered with Men’s Sheds in Cedar’s Park, Cheshunt, to deliver social value as part of our ongoing scheme with the London Borough of Enfield.

 

Men’s Sheds are an incredible organisation that primarily focus on supporting men’s mental health and wellbeing by providing them with a safe space to carry out woodworking, gardening or other activities that benefit the wider community. This gives them an opportunity to clear their heads, have an environment to talk and relate to other people, and keep themselves busy.

 

Greyline have made various donations to give the ‘shedder’s’ more materials to work with including saws, adhesive, paint brushes, screws and tape measures, alongside a brand-new generator to power their equipment. The team also volunteered at the park on behalf of Men’s Sheds, painting their wooden sculptures, cutting back overgrown plants and other important tasks throughout the day.

 

We will continue to work closely with the Men’s Sheds team at Cedar’s Park throughout the duration of the contract, providing more volunteering support as well as working together to provide a bird box building session for the children on the estate.
