Homes for Haringey Northumberland Park Estate

Greyline have completed an extensive package of FRA works to properties owned by Homes for Haringey in the Northumberland Park Estate.
Following fire risk assessments by the client, essential maintenance and fire protection works were identified to medium rise and tall blocks on the estate.
Wates approached Greyline to undertake the works on their behalf, utilising our industry recognised fire certifications to ensure completed works would be competently undertaken, meet building regulations and provide the required levels of protection in the event of a fire in any of the blocks.
Our directly employed operatives hold BM Trada certifications in firestopping, fire door maintenance and fire door installation. Their certifications ensured they had the requisite skills to both undertake and sign-off the completed works.
For Northumberland Park we were able to carry out the design aspects of works to firestopping solutions in loft areas to pitched roof properties and support the design and installation of upgraded emergency lighting in the communal areas.
Our team undertook firestopping measures including:
- Lofts using fire collars to pipework and Rockwall 60-minute fire curtains.
- Installation of fire rated loft hatches.
- Upgrading electrical intake cupboards (and in some instances constructing new cupboards).
- Walls and floor penetrations.
