Scope
Greyline successfully completed this project, which was commissioned by Enfield Council on behalf of the NHS for the alteration and refurbishment of the Old Magistrate’s Court to convert it into a Rehabilitation Centre.
The property is a Grade II listed low-rise building, constructed in the 1980s, which required a combination of internal and external works to preserve its heritage value while improving usability and compliance with modern standards.
During the pre-construction survey, asbestos and rotten timber was identified. To mitigate this, the project team worked extended hours, including weekends, and increased labour resources when needed.
We completed the following scope of works through a combination of direct labour and subcontractors:
Internal:
-
- Demolition works
- Internal and external decorations
- Replacing of vinyl flooring and renew carpet tiles
- Wall and ceiling construction
- Windows and doors renewals
- Electrical and mechanical works
- Lift installation
- Kitchen and bathroom
- External:
-
- Decorations
- Entrance ramp
- Façade repairs
- Roofing repairs
