Scope

Greyline have been working with Metropolitan Thames Valley Housing since 2019 providing a planned works service which runs in tandem with the client’s DLO who provide day to day repairs.

In 2020 we were engaged by MTVH to take on specific planned external works to four blocks for MTVH valued at £311k. (Colcutt Lodge, Ferndale, Sandmere Road, and Woodgate Drive).

The scope of works varied on each site having been confirmed through a joint survey process, undertaken by Greyline and MTVH, to determine a fully costed Schedule of Works. Across the blocks, we have completed:

  • External decorations and repairs.
  • Window repairs.
  • Electrical testing .
  • Internal decorating to communal areas.
  • Window cill renewals and balcony repairs.

Colcutt Lodge and Ferndale were successfully delivered in incredibly challenging times, with Colcutt Lodge being placed on-hold directly after mobilisation owing to the first Covid-19 lockdown. Our proactive response, development of new covid-19 working practices, and additional on-site measures supported the successful restart of the project in June and an effective remobilisation.

All blocks were occupied throughout the works and our team initiated our Greyline Customer Journey to support high levels of customer service.
