Scope

Refurbishment and fire compliance works to occupied residential properties in the London Borough of Haringey.

Our works for the London Borough of Haringey are an exemplary demonstration of our ability to deliver on-time, to target programmes and within budget. Since 2008 Greyline have completed an extensive programme of internal, external planned maintenance and FRA works in the Borough.

Greyline were engaged on the contracts through the Supply Chain Management Group (SCMG). We were appointed via a procurement process that confirmed a position on a Supplier Framework arrangement. SCMG is an innovative approach to supply chain management on planned works contracts, recognised by Government as a trial project and providing estimated savings to Haringey of 14% per annum.

In the last three years alone, we have successfully completed internal works to 2575 homes in the Borough, undertaking kitchen and bathroom replacements, rewires and associated works to bring each home up to modern decent homes standards.

Maintaining full control of labour, through the engagement of our own directly employed operatives, has supported quality in delivery and service. Our team includes all key trades required to deliver internal works. All works were supervised by our site manager, or directly employed trade supervisors, ensuring that Greyline’s ISO9001 quality processes, safety policies and approach to customer care were continuously delivered.

100% of properties undertaken since 2015 were completed within the following target periods:

Kitchen and bathroom = 13 days.
Kitchen only = 10 days.
Bathroom only = 5 days.
Kitchen, bathroom and M&E = 14 days.

In the same period, all works were delivered to agree maximum prices created post-surveys of properties.
