Greyline has been successful in securing a long term two year contract to support the London Borough of Islington and their in-house responsive repairs teams during busier “peak” times to cover general building ad-hoc repairs and special projects – general estate maintenance and improvements to their residential buildings and estates.

The borough has been split into four contract areas with Greyline responsible for the 14,000 council owned properties in “Area 2”, an area where Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium is also based. In addition to covering N5 postcode dwellings, Greyline are acting as back up contractor in areas covering N1 and EC1 postcodes.

Key to the success was Greylines in-house, directly employed, multi-disciplinary trades people who will support the council’s own workforce over the 24 months that the contract is due to run. There is also the option to extend the contract by a further 24 months.

General Building related repairs includes: brickworks (internal and external); carpentry; electrical; fencing and gates, foundations, glazing, groundworks, joinery, metal works, painting and decorating, plastering, plumbing, specialist treatments for damp related works, tarmac and general surfacing, tiling and vinyl Flooring.
